Hybrid Sunflower Seed

Sunflower is widely grown around the world for it's broad adaptability and high oil contents. Pakistan is currently suffering from a severe shortage of edible oil with only 30% of the needs being met locally whereas the remaining 70% is imported. Sunflower is considered an excellent source of edible oil with highly desirable nutritious values.

Our sunflower hybrid seed US 666 has captured a major share of Pakistan's sunflower market in a very short time. The variety has been appreciated for its all rounder capabilities.

US 444 is our early maturing hybrid sunflower variety which is recently introduced in the market. US 444 is best suited for areas of late sowing and offers excellent yield potential.

Hybrid Mustard Seed

Mustard, rapeseed has been grown in the country for ages and are considered the traditional oil seed crops. The most commonly grown O.P varieties lack the yield potential to make these crops financially competitive. There was a dire need for high yielding hybrids that could attract farmers by making these crops financially lucrative.

CROWN GOLD is Commander Seeds hybrid mustard seed brand launched in 2012.

CROWN GOLD 1733 is the most popular hybrid mustard seed variety of the series. It has shown outstanding performance under various conditions. Some highlights are given below 

• Medium maturity time, 125 to 135 days

CROWN GOLD 1800 is the latest hybrid mustard seed variety of the series. It promises high yield with shorter maturity time for late sowing areas.

Hybrid Corn Seed

Corn is widely grown in Pakistan, in fact it is the third most important cereal crop. Our point of focus in the past few years has been on the introduction of high yielding corn hybrids suitable for different agricultural zones and different sowing times.

VICTORIA hybrid corn seed brand has been recently launched by Umer Seeds focusing the changing weather and soil conditions of the country. 

VICTORIA 11 is our first hybrid corn variety best suited for spring cultivation. It has shown great potential in various corn growing areas and has the following characteristics

Cotton is one of the largest grown crops in Pakistan and our biggest seller. We procure a wide range of cotton seed varieties to suit various climatic and geographic zones of the country. We work in close relationship with FSC&RD and various government research institutions across the country to introduce and procure new varieties with high yields and better disease resistance

Rice Seed
 
Pakistan is one of the largest rice producing countries in the world. Rice ranks second amongst the staple crops grown in the country. We procure a wide range of varieties suitable for different growing areas for better yields and disease resistance.

Hybrid Sorghum Sudangrass

Hybrid SSGs offer an excellent source of fodder in times of shortage. Due to their tolerance to heat and water shortage they are widely used by diary farmers in Pakistan. Though in the past they were primarily used as a source of green fodder recently their use in silage production is also gaining popularity.
